A period of hot and humid weather continues.

Time span: continuing through Wednesday.

Maximum daytime temperatures: near 28 to 31 degrees Celsius (Humidex 36 to 40).

Minimum overnight temperatures: 18 to 20 degrees Celsius.

Locations: most of New Brunswick (excluding the Fundy Coast).

Remarks: A combination of very high temperatures and elevated humidity continue to affect the region. The warmest conditions are expected to occur on Wednesday, in areas stretching from Woodstock to Sussex, when Humidex values could reach 40 in the afternoon. Temperatures will turn cooler over all areas on Wednesday night.

Areas near the coast will be generally cooler throughout the period.
