Step into the story with Tours Through Time at Beaubears Island on July 19th for Canada Parks Day! Back for one day only! Meet the characters who helped shape Miramichi’s past, from early settlers to shipbuilding legends, as history comes to life around you! This special event features live, costumed actors sharing stories right on the island!
Tours run hourly from 12PM to 3PM, with the last one ending at 4PM! Tickets are $20 per person, and spots fill up fast, so we recommend making a reservation, though it isn’t necessary! Call (506) 622-8526 or email info@beaubearsisland.ca to book your tour. Come explore the island like never before!

picnic and farmers market

Mark your calendars for the Beaubears Island Picnic and Farmers Market on Saturday, August 23rd from 11AM to 5PM, where a day of delightful experiences awaits in Nelson. Help celebrate over 150 years of Beaubears Picnics, and enjoy a scenic day on Beaubears Island for $10 a meal, and $10 ferry service to and from the Island! All meals are buffet style, where you can choose your own options!
The mainland (Bicentennial Park, 35 St. Patrick’s Drive, Miramichi) will be hosting a vibrant farmers market featuring local vendors selling local produce, art, jewelry, and so much more.
Admission to the market and Interpretive Centre is free, making it a perfect summer outing for the whole family! A BBQ will also be held at 3PM, cash and card accepted! Chips, pop, and water, will be available for purchase all day!
